So I was on the bus today headed home from work reading a book.
A very pretty woman was sitting across from me. Granted she was very pretty and I was not wearing any makeup, plus I'm also I'm aon the plus side.
So anyway she reaches across the aisle and taps my hand. She asks me "Is that an engagement ring?"
"Yes" I reply waiting to hear a congratulatons as I usually do.
"It's a great ring" she says.
"Thanks" I say
Then she says to me "I can't understand why you are engaged. I'm so much hotter than you" and then got off the bus.
I was so hurt. I mean how can someone say that.
Sorry for this post, I just needed to vent a little.
WTF. That girl has serious insecurity issues. That is insulting, but take pride in knowing that you're not an angry, bitter, sad girl.
I cannot believe that someone would have the audacity to say such a thing.
She may never get engaged with that kind of karma.
That sucks. I know it was super hurtful, but it sounds to me like she's jealous and feeling sorry for herself. She probably justcot dumped for being a shallow b*tch

Um, what? That is incredibly hurtful! Though I have to say, with comments like that, it's no surprise that she's not engaged. You can be hot, but if you're a mean person, I don't think many people will be lining up to proprose to you.
I would have laughed my ass off. She couldn't have been that pretty if she was insecure enough to put down a complete stranger.
and that is EXACTLY why you're engaged and she's not...I don't know many men that would be able to tolerate someone like that for very long let alone forever...don't let her make you feel bad!
@Otaqueen: omg I cannot believe this! Being HOT has nothing to do with finding someone to love. Ugh, she obviously has major issues. I am sure that you are a very beautiful woman and you clearly are a better person than her! She probably wont be loved anytime soon with that attitude even if she is so "hot". UGH..
