I think that's a high price, but I got a great deal on my flowers - we paid $535 for all the bouquets (mine and 4 bridesmaids), bouts, wristlets for the moms and grandmothers, and 14 centerpieces, and flowers on the cake and rose petals on our aisle...

Are you asking her for centerpeices as full as the ones you posted? If so, her prices aren't bad at all, for what you are asking for. Were you thinking that you wouldn't have to pay for labor? Or any additional supplies?
@kventures: So I had almost the exact same flowers in my centerpieces and they weren't nearly as big as yours. I was married in September of 2007 - so prices 3 years ago, and my florist charged me $75/table. Sorry - yours are a steal in my book!
Honestly, $65 a centerpiece of that size seems cheap to me. Most places that I've talked to have been quoting in the $90-$100 range.
If the centerpieces are as full as the ones in the pictures, I would expect to pay $150-$200 per centerpiece just for the flowers and labor. Low and simple centerpieces that i have looked at start at $45. So, if we rounded all of my numbers down, that would be almost $1000 just for the centerpieces. Flowers are super expensive.. If you're second guessing it - get a couple of quotes. But I'm pretty sure she's giving you an amazing deal!
Not at all i asked for centerpieces prob the size of a small basketball alot smaller than the ones on the pix.. esp for the candles.. there would not be as many flowers esp because my stand is not that that big enough to give it that much room
i wanted the tall centerpiece floral arrangement with crystal strands like the 1st pix - my florist quoted $150-225 depending on flower (i dont get to keep the tall holders). yours is a steal.

As a bride that would like to save money, I have been doing my homework on flowers etc. In order to save money I choose flowers that are in season in the month of September ( roses and hydrengas). Turns out my co- workers wife works on flowers and has worked on a couple of weddings. She doesn’t have her own business so she works from home ( that’s the reason I feel she is charging a bit much?! I asked for tall center pieces like the following piture
Mind you ( the wrote iron holders I already bought so I wouldn’t have to pay extra to rent them) I want only 5 of these, since I have 10 tables I asked for something less extravagant on the other table. I asked for hydrangeas and flowers around a candle ( candles that I would have to pay for)
The only really good thing was that she is able to get me my peonies for my bouquet ( I know they are impossible to get and really price) Well I had been quoted $150 from another florist for a bouquet of roses and peonies
So my co-workers wife quoted me $800 .. I feel it’s a bit much since she would be averaging $65 p/table.. Which is understandable for the tall centerpieces .. but for flowers around a candle?? I mean all she would have to pay for would be the flowers because everything else is coming out of my pocket.. HELP!! What do you guys think?? How much did any of you pay for something similar.
