Today, at 16w2d pregnant (due November 6), I’m definitely feeling baby moving!!! Last night I felt some weird fluttery type feelings laying down before bed and wasn’t sure if it was baby or gas; but then today I woke up and ate breakfast and goodness it feels like baby is doing somersaults in there!!!
You know that feeling when you are driving over a hill and you go over it fast and your stomach feels like it jumps up in your throat? It feels like that, but down in my lower abdomen! Then I keep feeling butterfly flutter feelings!!!
I’m so excited! We have our ultrasound on June 19th and I can’t wait!
Anybody have any suggestions on how we can get our baby to do somersaults during the ultrasound? Haha! 😉

That is the best feeling in the world, the first movement of your little one. Just wait till you are asking LO why they felt it was a nice thing to kick you in the rib

Yay! 🙂 That is the best part of pregnancy.
My suggestion is to drink a bit of orange juice before the ultrasound. Also remember that at the time of the anatomy scan, they move around a ton that you can’t feel yet – I was so worried during my ultrasound that the baby was just asleep because I couldn’t feel anything, and then when the tech turned the screen so I could see, she was rolling all around in there! 🙂 At that point I had been feeling movement since 15 weeks so I thought I felt everything haha.

aww yay!! It is the best feeling. Now at 32 weeks – I can feel her feet pushing out on one side and hiccups in my lower belly area! So be prepared – bc it gets so much better. 🙂

Congrats! That is the best.. Wait, the bigger they get, the more hard kicks you get. I even could feel my kids hands and feet through my belly, when they pressed against it. So exciting! Enjoy every moment.
