First, thanks for all the input on my dress choices!  It was super helpful.  I made the big purchase yesterday and am feeling very excited and like this whole wedding thing is actually going to happen.  I ended up going with the Allure P840.  I think for a bit I got sort of caught up in the whole dress shopping experience and when I took a step back I realized this was the dress that felt most like me.  The next decision will be if I should have a sash/belt with it and what kind.  I'm fairly certain I'll have one, but am open to any suggestions as to what looks best.  I put up some of the options here for you to vote or comment on.  Also, I think for the final version of the dress I'm going to have a sweetheart neckline, so if you think that is a good or bad idea I'd love to hear that too.  Thanks!!  And sorry the pictures are so big.  I couldn't figure out how to re-size them.

I love the third one!  I think it balances out the ruffles without being too light (the first one) or too heavy (the second one).  Congratulations on your dress!  It's beautiful, and so are you!!

First all, I think the dress is gorgeous by itself and with ALL of the belts.  I liked the 2nd belt the best, personally, because of the width and the sparkle.

Bonus:I think it accents your waist more and makes you look even skinnier. :)

The second belt balances the ruffles of the skirt and makes your waist look awesome. I also think a sweetheart neckline would be perfect.

    You look AMAZING!

All three belts look great. I was between #1 and #2, but I think the flower would be more appropriate for a spring/summer wedding, so I picked #2.

congratulations on picking out your dress!

Congrats on your dress! I love the softness of the first belt, I feel the second is a little thick and competes with the ruffles. A thinner sparkly one would be my choice.

Oh Im so happy for you, that you finally chose your dress!  This one is beautiful on you, with and without belts!  I actually love the 2nd belt most and feel like it's most figure flattering for you, but you can't go wrong with and of these choices!

So at first I really thought the 3rd belt was the best but after looking at the photos, I think the 2nd belt might actually hold up better on photographs. The 3rd looks like it matches the best but it almost looks like it might not stay in place - the 2nd has a very weighted feel to it and makes your waist look tiny. Go with whatever feels the most normal to you (as if anything bridal can feel normal, right?). :)

    3RD FOR SURE!!!

the flowers blend in too much.

The 2nd one is TOO much and I think it actually takes from the dress

Like the 3rd b/c it off sets the fabric "embellishment ruffles" just enough, but doesn't over power them

I like the flower belt because it is similar to the fabric of the dress.  I think the dress is very feminine and sweet and so is belt #1.

The third is PERFECT. The 2nd one doesn't quite fit with the dress. It's a little too over the top. Also - it cuts you in half, so it's not very flattering. The 3rd one brings the eye in, flattering your waist! It totally adds to the look and brings it to the next level!

I like #1 or #2 but I voted for #1 because it seems like it's always been a part of the dress.  The fabric of the sash and flowers looks like it belongs with this dress.

2 is by far the best! I think it might look better if you could find something just like 2, but a little less wide. It looks great though! You look beautiful!

I like #1 or #2. #2 makes it look very classy and expensive! Plus is kinda resembles the beaded sash on Kate's reception dress! Bonus points!!

Hopefully, this is not offensive but #1 and #2 look like the dress was made that way. #3 to me looks like it doesn't go as well with the dress.

@Mrs. Cooper:Wow, #2 is really similar to Kate's reception dress belt!  I just looked it up because you mentioned it.  My brother thinks I'm the least fashionable person ever, perhaps this will make him re-think that. :)

I really like the first one, it's very soft and romantic, but the second one makes your waist look so tiny!  Who doesn't want that??

The dress is gorgeous, and looks great with all the belts!

I think it depends on the venue of your wedding.

Belt #1 is better suited for outdoor ceremony, gardeny, nature kind of theme

Belt #2 is all glam and more appropriate for an evening wedding in a hotel ballroom or something more formal like that

Belt #3 is a nice compromise that can work in any setting. I personally love this one the most because it looks most delicate. Belt #2 looks a little too blingy for bridal (more like evening wear)

I LOVE the second one. I feel like if you do a sash it should either look like part of the dress or really stand out and for you standing out is the way to go.  It makes your waist even thinner, makes the dress more visually interesting and adds some blingy drama!

allure charged $100...it was worth it to me tho. its what i really wanted. my alterations lady said she could do the sweetheart for $35, and allure wanted $100 for that as well...so i am going with alterations on that, hope that it comes out alright. :)

here is a picture of the front, i thought i posted it :)

@wescarley: Looks awesome from the front, too!!  I'm going to get a sweetheart neckline added to my dress as well!  We really are dress twins.  :)  From what I've heard, I don't think it is too difficult to change it into a sweetheart neckline, so I bet your alterations lady will do a fine job.  I didn't even realize that Allure could make the changes for you!  Bummer.  I ordered my dress a little over a week ago and I wonder if it is too late to change my order to have it made into a corset?  Hmmm. . .  probably doesn't hurt to ask.

I was going to have allure do all of my alterations. The boutique where i bought my dress from told me it would be around $35 to alter it to sweetheart thru allure. I was going to go with it, but the boutique called a couple weeks later and said that allure was going to charge $100 for EACH alteration. She offered that their alterations will do it for $35, so I am going with that. :) You should call if you really want the corset, it doesnt hurt to ask!

I have the same dress, it has not arrived yet though! I had a flower to wear with a sash but I just ordered a sash similar to #3 to wear with mine! I have to say I LOVE #2 as well but I find the full beaded/rhinestone sashes can be very expensive!

I was even thinking of wearing the flower sash in the day and changing it to something with some sparkle for the reception!!

I also have thought about changing the neckline to a slight sweetheart. I think that would be nice!
