Great, my friends say they can't see the album and pics won't load :( I wonder if it's like that for everyone?
I can see them without a problem! You look so beautiful - I love how dramatic your veil is!
It loaded for me - what a beautiful wedding you had! The book layout is awesome, has a very nice flow from one place to another. Well done!
It worked for me too, just took a moment to load all the pictures. Great photos! I look forward to seeing the actual album too...I want to make our parents' albums using Adorama when the time comes.
It is just taking a minute to load. Maybe your friends have slow connections. I am putting together a book from them too for our guest book. Did you purchase the UV coating for your pages or did you opt not to get it. I am trying to decide whether or not to get it.
Your book is gorgeous!!!
Looks great! I was planning on doing the same for the parents albums. We are getting ours through our photographer if we can afford the slurge. How much did this album cost you?
Oh, I'm glad! Thank you everyone. It must be the connection or memory. I can see it from work though it takes a while to load.
@noritake22: I didn't get the UV coating, didn't think it would be necessary since I'm not really going to be dragging around outside a lot. Everyone needs my permission to even touch it, haha. We had a little mishaps with one of the cats jumping on it with wet paws this weekend but I was able to dry it with no damage done.
@kfricke89: I think it was around $190 minus a $10 coupon. I got the biggest possible size with the maximum number of pages so a bit pricey. Here's their price list: http://www.adoramapix.com/products/books. They have their 8x8 books on sale right now.
@meliss: Thank you for letting me know. I will not get it then :-)
You did a fabulous job putting it all together! Well done, the album is Lovely!
Thanks everyone! I was going to post photos of the book last night but my computer broke down :( I have a feeling I'm going to love this book even more than my photographer's album because I was able to fit in all the candid shots that are not necessarily so artistic.
I promised to post actual shots of the book and then I completely forgot about it, lol. The pics I took unfortunately look discolored and faded, but that's due to my horrible photography skills. The book actually looks really nice and bright. The cover is glossy which is my favorite part - I kinda wish the rest of the book was like that too.
@meliss: Awesome album! Are the pages thick? Or like regular photo paper?
@ddubzz: Thanks! They look thick to me, but here's what the website says: "All our pages use Fuji Crystal Archive photo paper for vivid fade-resistant colors and brilliant whites you just can’t get in press print books."
Beautiful work!! I may have to ask your advice when it comes to creating my album.
By the way, I love your cat - it is so furry and cute!!
you are really REALLY gorgeous, these photos are great but your kiki is not impressed!
Gorgeous pics Melis!!! I was able to see all the pages perfectly and I'm using my hubby's ancient desktop (my laptop broke)! I just walked away for some coffee and everything was fully loaded when I returned.
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!
@rachaelrobin: , @MrsSl82be: , @Vitsippa: ,@BayStateBride: Aw, thank you so much, you are all so kind! I feel relieved like I finished a big school term paper :) I'm now ordering a copy for our parents while Adoramapix has a 10% off sale.
@elliestan: Thank you! Haha, that's the typical Persian face that always looks grumpy, but actually she was quite enjoying posing for the camera.
Thanks for posting this, that's exactly the album I've been thinking of getting! It looks great!

I finally finished turning my favorite 300 (!) pics into one album and received the book this week. I'd read great reviews about Adoramapix before but the final product even exceeded my expectations. The cover is very high quality glossy paper, the book lays flat, the pages are thick and sturdy and the print quality is fantastic! I also love that it's huge (12x12) because there was no other way I could fit that many pics into one album.
Here's my album design, and in essence my full wedding photo recap (I edited one page in the link below to hide our names) . We're still going to get a pro-album from our photographer in addition, this was just one that I made for my own pleasure. It contains unedited pics from our photographer as well as a combination of guest photos. It helped that my uncle is an amateur photographer and took many of the photos at the dance portion of the reception.

I'll post some actual pics of the book later.
