Weddingbee boards

I tried so hard to wait until my actual dress came in at the end of January to take pictures, but I just couldn't wait any longer and stopped by the bridal salon to get pictures in the sample today. Please keep in mind that the sample is a size too small and I plan on toning up my muscles before the wedding, so my actual dress would fit me properly and the back would lay correctly. Thoughts on my dress? Also, which veil/flower do you like best?

Oh, I also forgot to add that I will be having a brooch bouquet, and the dress is quite sparkly in real life, so I don't want to overload on the sparkle. (Though my mom thinks sparkle overload doesn't exist. lol)

First, you look beautiful in that dress! I voted for the hair flower. Usually, I am very much a veil girl, but the hair flower was a clear winner for me this time. It almost seems like the veils compete with the dress, but the hair flower really lets the dress take center stage.

Ha ha! I thought the same thing when I first saw the pics! I thought to myself, That dress is so her. And, then I thought, Wait, I don't know her! I didn't have the guts to post it like you did. ;-)

Agree with PP, that dress is incredible and seems to suit you perfectly. If you are set on a veil, I like the single layer beaded one (don't cover up more of that dress than you have to!) and I really love the hair flower.

that dress is ah-mazing on you!!! and you're right, the model pics on your previous post do it absolutely ZERO justice! i love that dress so much!!!

if you want a veil, i'd go with the single layer because it's more sheer and you can see the details of the dress better through it... but like a PP said, i'd totally do the hair flower under the veil! then whey you take your veil off at the reception, you have that rockin' hair flower left to highlight! :) 

also, you're hair looks great! did you do it yourself? it goes really well with the dress! :)

@anotheroneofmany: Yes, I did do my hair myself. My future uncle, who's a hairstylist will be doing my hair for the wedding, and he did something similar in a bridal photo shoot I did a while back for a magazine, and I tried to do something similar whenever I went to try on my dress. I told him when he did my hair that day that he'd be doing my hair on my wedding day. Little did he know it would be to his nephew. (We weren't dating yet.) Here's a picture of that photoshoot:
