i am soooo happy! i thought id never get 'that feeling' .... now what kind of veil do you guys think???
Love it!
As for veils i'd try some on, there's your excuse for going back and trying it on again lol, and just see as it depends on you, your dress and what sort of feel you want.
@Prewitt: i tried on a ton! im just so indecisive lol!
Beautiful dress!! You look great! I just wanted to say I bought my dress in Ft Wayne, and the girls at The Bride to Be are the BEST!!! I got my veil and jewlery there, I found my "the one" at Wendy's, but made sure to go back to The Bride to Be for everything else because they were so great! I have seen your other post about trying to find a dress In Ft wayne without a lot of beading and stuff. I thought that was funny because I was the same way and had a hell of a time also :)
@Prewitt: unfortunately no! but when i go back for their trunk show (accessories and veils) i will be sure to take a ton! im thinking a short veil bc the dress is so structured... i donno.
@pinkb: i agree they are the best!! haha i dont know why they try to bedazzle us! im a simple girl!
I think its so so pretty! I love the bolero, it goes really well with the dress and i like how its a lot different than most. So excited for you, congrats!
Yeah that crossed my mind actually but then again the fingertip may emphasise where the ruching part and plain part meet and therefore cut you and the dress in half... When you've done more shopping let us know ;)
thanks everyone! i cant wait till february when it comes in! :)
oh yay you got the dress, its looks so pretty on you, congrats!
@Sassy5412: thank you! i am actually clipped into the dress bc it was 2 sizes too large! :) i cant wait till my real dress comes in and i hope it fits like a glove!
Looks great on you! Who is the designer of that dress...its very pretty! Congrats on your decision...I know how good it feels when you finally make it...I just found my dress as well!!
You look great! I agree that a shorter veil would show off the shape of the dress and the corset style that you added to the back.

so after many many dress shops and tons of dresses, i found THE ONE! its kind of ironic this is one of the first dresses i 'tried' on (and i say try because i couldnt get the sample over my hips- sample was a 14 and i am a 16). The ladies in the dress shop were so great!!! (The Bride to Be - Fort Wayne) they held it up for me and i loved it then, but i just couldnt commit to buying it without actually trying it on!!! sooooo they ordered me another sample that i could try on( which is a few sizes too big but o well)! and i absolutely loved it!!!
read about my journey here... http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/just-wanted-to-share-my-fort-wayne-dress-shopping-experience
so here it is! (sorry bout the horrible cell phone pic!) and i promise i am super happy even if my face says otherwise hehe!!!
OHHH! and i lengthened the train 20 more inches! and i made it a corset back! and no jacket for me!:)
