For the canadian ladies….I live in toronto canada, and ordered 72 of the glass votive holders (no candles).  Duty was 22$ through UPS, shipping was about 18$, and the holders were 26$.  Shipping and duty is ridiculous, but still ended up cheaper than getting them at Michaels or the dollar store.  Michaels has the same ones for 1.49$.

I found some super inexpensive glass votives with candles already in them at Michael’s this weekend. They come in packages of 12 and this week they’re on sale for $5.99 for 12 ($0.50 per candle and votive holder). I couldn’t find a cheaper price anywhere… I scooped up 8 packages!

ETA: I’d originally planned on ordering from cudge.net but with shipping costs it ended up being about $0.75 per candle and holder.

I picked up some votives at Michaels a couple weekends ago – 100 candles for $2.  As it turns out, you get what you pay for — I lighted them in a candle holder along with votives from IKEA, and the IKEA candles burned much more nicely (they were brighter and the wax melted more smoothly).  In any case, 100 for $2 is a great deal, and they burned for probably 5 hours.  Don’t forget – Michaels sends out coupons every week if you’re on their email list!

I recently purchase 144 used votives with holders for $15 on craigslsit rochester ny.  I ended up freezing them to get the wax out. I found some quality candles for a really good price at http://www.webstaurantstore.com. 288 for 47.11 shiped.  I dont’ need 144 candles ant my tables so Im selling 72 on cl when Im finished I will sell off the 72 candles with holders and the remanding 72 without. Maybe I will end up with my candles free 🙂
