It's beautiful and looks so nice on, plus if you have been drooling over this dress for weeks and you loved it when you saw it in person and when you put it on you could picture getting married in it , that means its your dress. Good luck

Congrats! I know you probably would have felt better if you could have tried it on for real, but I think you can really get a good idea of how beautiful your dress will look on you from the picture. I can't wait to see how lovely it looks on you when you get it in your size! :)

So, I have posted another thread before saying I found THE dress. Being a size 24, bridal stores in my area don't carry a lot of things for me to try on and I felt I just had to settle. I still couldn't make myself purchase this dress even though I told myself not to look online at anymore...
Well, that lasted all of a month! I started looking online again and realized this just wasn't my dress. I wanted tulle. I wanted lace. I wanted an empire waist. I found the following dress by Allure online. I even searched the Hive for "Allure 8756" and found several pictures of bees who wore it. It only came in misses sizes, but did go up to a size 32. I figured if I wanted it, I was just going to have to bite the bullet and order it without trying it on.
Today, I drove and hour and a half to Huntsville, hopeful I would find something I love. After having no luck at 2 stores, the third was having an Allure truck show. I wasn't seeing anything I liked in my size, so I just started to look through other racks. I pulled out a dress and said, "Now this is exactly what I want!" The more I looked at it I was knew it was the dress I had drooled online over. I braced myself as I looked at the size, knowing it wouldn't fit. It was a 14, and although that is 5 sizes smaller than what I would wear, I told the sales person, I was going to atleast *try* to put this dress on.
To my surprise... I got it on! Yes, it wouldn't zip and my whole back was falling out, but atleast I could see it on me and KNOW this is my dress!
I hope all my fellow plus size bees will take it from me... Do not settle on a dress! You will find your perfect one if you just don't give up. And don't let anyone tell you that you can't wear something. If you love it... buy it!
