Thanks ladies! I had the 'dress regret' moment the night after we got it, but since then I've gone back to the shop and talked about the alterations they can made to be sure it fits right and they talked to the designer and they are altering the pattern to fit my height so the proportions are right for my frame (I'm only 5 feet tall). So I feel much better about it now.

I found my dress, and it's nothing like what I thought I would get. I picked it out and I wanted to try it on first and after showing everyone my original dream dress and trying on tons of other dresses, I kept coming back to this one. Every time I put it on, my mom and sister cried. So I got it.
It's way too big and the consultant is holding it up on me, so the top looks huge around my boobs, but I think once it fits, it'll look great. At least I hope so. It's Tara Keely, style 2052 in case anybody is interested. I haven't seen another bride in it anywhere.
