I went dress shopping last weekend and I had every intention of picking something simple but beautiful for our rustic wedding. I couldn’t find anything I loved until my moh recommended that we just go to a real bridal shop. Well I fell in love with a dress but the more i think about it, the more i think it might be too dressed up for my casual wedding! http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_Organza-Draped-Pick-up-with-Beaded-Lace-Empire-9L9479 Here is the link. The guys are just wearing khakis and a white button down with a royal blue tie. Do you think it will look ok?

I love it! I think it’s a little more formal, but I don’t think it’s really over the top. It actually fits the theme of a rustic wedding. I would just downplay it with your hair style and accesories.

Yes- you should wear shoes that match their blue ties as well as have that color blue in your bouquet!!!!!!

Yay! thanks for making me feel better! My mom got mad that we are using mason jars in our centerpieces because she said that if I’m having a nice dress i should have nice vases and not jars because it won’t look right. I guess that’s what made me nervous! But I don’t think my mom would be happy unless we were having a formal wedding, which we really can’t afford!

It’s your day! You could wear anything from a paper bag to a ball room gown regardless of the setting in my humble opinion! Just so long as you love it and you feel beautiful. 🙂
