I am so so so excited about finding my dress!! Its a Moonlight H1218 (never even heard of the designer until I tried the dress on, I was dead set on having an Allure gown). I originally thought I wanted my hair down and curled, but my mother thinks I need to have an updo. Also what about jewelry? I am TERRIBLE at accessorizing so I dont know if I need a necklace or just dramatic earrings, what do you think?

@mrssouthpaw: My gown is a similar shape, Raidis by San Patrick. I’ll also be wearing my hair up, and I’m opting for a statement necklace with smaller earrings. I’m tall, so I feel like I need the necklace to occupy some of the space between the top of my dress and my face. Also, I’ve worn big, dramatic earrings to events, and they drive me crazy swinging around when I try to dance :). One last thing – I was also considering a belt/sash, but decided that I want to keep the focus upwards, towards my face. Having a necklace AND a belt would be a little distracting, in my opinion.
You picked a beautiful dress, congratulations!

I think with your hair up, you need some kind of necklace to take away from all the bare chest area your hair won’t be covering. Something relatively simple, and earrings. And a nice hair comb or flower as well.

What about something like this? It was really cheap so it won’t hurt my feelings if you say no. Also, does it look too cheap?

Hello! I just purchased this dress for my upcoming June wedding, but it did not come with a sash. I’ve been looking everywhere for one to buy. If you’re done with it, would you be willing to sell it to me? (You looked beautiful, btw!).
