OMGosh I am in love. I went dress shopping for the first time today. I went with my mother, maid of honor and jr bridesmaid. I was kind of bummed out that my future sister in law, another bridesmaid, couldn’t make it. I know it means a lot to my fiancé to include his sister since his mother live so far. I had no intent of buying a dress yet I just wanted to go browse a bit and maybe try on a few dresses. I went in particularly for the Mori Lee 5108 but fell in love with the Mori Lee 1862. I kind of new in my heart I wanted a lace dress but thought that I had fallen in love with the ruched bodice of the 5108. I have upload pictures to get your opinion although I have kind of already fallen for this dress<3 I think i’m in love!!!
My main concern is that this is the first location and time that I have tried on dressed before. I do not want to rush into anything and I am so afford I am going to regret the dress I pick and want a different one. Do any of you other ladies have this anxiety too? I am so nervous and as much as I love the dress it feels unreal. I feel like I’m not ready to actually cash out so much money on a dress I am going to only wear once.
Also I set of budget of $1500. I said that I would not go pass $2000 and would be more comfortable spending under $1500. So technically this dress is $1142, under budget. But when we add the sash I fell in love with ($300) and the veil I want ($250) plus taxes and alterations I am looking at about about $1861 before alterations. It makes me nausea thinking about spending that much on one dress. I know that some peoples dress alone will coast way more than that but I am not comfortable spending huge amounts on a dress.
Thanks for you help guys!

I am VERY picky. And I usually HATE lace. and I find your dress simply breathtaking on you! Congrats, bee!
I especially like the sash, it has a vintage twist to it, and the color is a refreshing change from champagne or white 😉 LOVEEEEE it

I’m absolutely crazy about the lace at the bottom of your gown. You found a winner!! As for the veil and sash, you could probably find acceptable alternatives elsewhere that would help you stay closer to your budget. Maybe you could take your future sister in law with you when you shop for those. But oh, that dress… it’s marvelous!

It’s a beautiful gown, very elegant and I love the colour. It looks gorgeous on you. I think you could do better on the sash, out of the two I prefer the first one (the shape is more flattering than the second, which widens the waist).

Well, Hello Dress-Twin! Congratulations on finding your dress. You look amazing in it! And you made the right choice with this dress! I went to two places and instantly fell in love with the dress! Had I tried it the first time, I think I would have bought it right away. So yeah, I can totally understand where you are coming from. The first sash is nice, even though I think, it might be a little too much. The other one, well, I dunno. Maybe check etsy for alternatives? They are also cheaper so you might not be overspending too much.
