I don't know who made it...but I like it a lot! I've never seen it.
I don't recognize it, but what I did when I found a wedding dress in a catalog (with no designer info) I liked was do a Google search for "wedding dress designers". I then went through their websites until I found the designer who made it (this would probably only work if it's a style the designer still carries). Took me a couple hours, but it was worth it! Interestingly enough, AFTER I had gone to the trouble, I bought a wedding magazine that had the SAME DRESS with all the designer information inlcuding the website right there. D'oh!

Why not write an email to the Vogue fashion editor....There are several and I'm sure they'll get back to you...
I agree with @jackie-o...anytime I've ever sent emails or letters to magazines I've always recieved a personal response :) even Guideposts for Teens as a 12 year old...
so I say go for it and hope for a response!!

Thanks for the advice! I was a little chicken to try to email them, but I'm gonna go for it! I'll post with anything I find out.
That's very beautiful! I love the silk jacket/shirt. It's too bad you can't see the top part of the dress, and I wonder if there's more under the jacket or if the jacket/shirt is the only thing on top and the bottom is just a skirt.
I have a feeling that with the dress being that old, you might not be able to find it for sale even if you determine the designer and style number. In that case, I think you could probably buy a similar style lace dress and have the silk jacket thingy custom made by a talented dressmaker. Good luck!

I don't know who makes it, or where to get it! I was doing a google search (bad idea, I know) and came across this on someone's Flikr page. I contacted her and she said it was from Vogue from a "couple of years ago." Ever since, I have been trekking to the library about once a week to go through all the Vogue's they have on file. So far I have paged through all of 2006, 2007, and 2008 with no success.
Does anyone recognize this dress or designer?
