- Wedding: September 2010
ZOMG. I don’t even know what to do with myself right now. I’m SO excited.
FI and I hired Little Fang Photography (LFP) to do our wedding day photography and my boudoir shoot. http://www.littlefangphoto.com. We were drawn to the photojournalistic/candid style of the photography, it was exactly the style we were looking for.
The primary photographer, Lindsey, is awesome. We loved her immediately (heck, I had to feel comfortable with her to strip down to my skivvies, right?).
We chose wedding package #3 which included: Boudoir photo session scheduled for bride prior to wedding including an unlimited number of images edited and on CD for customers personal printing. Two LFP photographers, 4 hours at wedding event, unlimited number of images, artists editing time, final proofs in an album, a CD of all completed work for printing at your discretion.
So I had my boudoir shoot in March, and Lindsey got me a CD of all the work within a couple of weeks – and I have to say, she is incredible. I was feeling a little self-conscious about some of my, ahem, “trouble zones” and she minimized them in the pics, it was unreal! VERY TALENTED!!!
So that was great experience #1 with LFP…
I emailed Lindsey a couple of weeks ago, asking what she and her husband would like to eat at the wedding, since they are going to be with us for four hours, I figured that we would end the contract time when the meal was served and then they could eat and head out afterward. She said that was not necessary, that she didn’t want it to cost us anything extra and that they’d bring power bars…?!?! So I thanked her for letting me know.
So I started putting together my “day-of” itinerary and realized that 4 hours just wasn’t going to cover everything I had in my mind for “THE SHOTS” – you know, getting ready shots, cake cutting, bouquet toss, things like that… so again, I emailed Lindsey asking for a quote of an hourly rate should we need additional time.
She is so great – she’s charging us a flat rate for an add-on of the entire day!!! So we tell them when to come and they’ll leave whenever we give them the go-ahead… instead of charging the hourly rate!
I freakin’ love my photographer. HIRE HER!!!
