Last week I posted about being stressed about not having a job after only looking for two weeks. Well I got a second interview and they called me just a few short hours ago to tell me I start Monday.
I know that some people dont have such good luck, and I feel really horrible now complaining about it. When my army service ended I have always had steady employment and staying at home and being a housewife is not my idea of fun.
Im not knocking SAHMs. I love my kids, and my husband but I can only clean the house so many times and be bored. I need to work and be outside of the home. Im always amazed at SAHMs. They have patience and work very hard, its just not a job I want to do.
Well my day is as good as its gonna get. My poor DH had to get a second small pox shot today, 21 years in service and he had to have another one.

That is fabulous news.
As for Hubby, make him a nice dinner… and tell him he gets to be spoiled by the “Perfect Housewife within” for exactly the next 7 days… you’ll do a good job of it (why not you might even really get into it knowing it has a definite end date) … but after that its back to the grindstone for you.
And he’ll need to do his fair share to have the place run a smoothly as it has while you’ve been off from work.
Lol… hence why he’ll appreciate the pampering you offer for the next 7 days.
PS… If you don’t normally do it, you might want to think about for example using some of the time over the next 7 days to do some make ahead meals… they always come in handy when you are working full time and are faced with that end of day “Oh my gosh, what are we going to have for dinner” question.
