@Jenn23: I start Feb 6th which is nice - It gives us time to coordinate the move without too crazy of a timecrunch.
Congratulations!! Long-awaited payoffs and good news are the PERFECT holiday gift :) FI got into medical school last week and it's been a long time coming. Any gift we (and I'm sure you as well) could receive now pales in comparison to knowing you worked towards something and are being rewarded!! Good luck!!

AHHHH!
I'm so excited right now!
So I've been job hunting since March as I'm really unhappy in my current position. It's been a very frustrating effort particularly because I'm going a new direction from my current position. I'd done a ton of research in college but took a corporate position in regulatory affairs when I graduated (it was all I could get in the economy). I really wanted to move back into research but I'd been out of it for 2.5 years.
Well I've been interviewing for a position in a lab at Emory University in Atlanta (where DH is from and where most of our friends live) since early November and I found out this morning I got the job!
I'm so freaking excited right now and I just had to share!!
