Wow your dad seems so sweet and thoughtful! I wish my dad was as tuned into how painful waiting could be as yours is. Your dad sounds awesome.
I LOVE it! I had a great dad like this (he passed 7 yrs ago) and I LOVE hearing how other women have great dad's like that. :) Makes me smile.
What a great dad with even greater taste! :)
That's so sweet of your dad!!! BTW, I have the exact ring, which FI purchased for me to wear out here instead of my engagement ring. Your dad has great taste.
Awww now that's a good dad!!! How sweet! And who doesn't love the little blue box right?! ;)
When I was younger my father and I did not really have a very strong relationship because my parents were divorced and I lived with my mother but after my mom died when I was 15 my father and I became very close. Now my dad and I are very close and we see each other almost every day in fact my boyfriend and my father are close and tease each other to no end, it is adorable. I was just so touched by my dad's gift he is the sweetest dad :) I am so blessed

My boyfriend and I have been dating for two years now and have began the wedding talks and ring shopping so all I wanted for Christmas was a ring and I made that blatantly clear. My boyfriend God bless his heart did not have the money or the forethought to save said money to buy one this Christmas, so when my dad found out that I was likely to be disappointed he stepped into action (it is also important to note my older sister is also in waiting.) On Christmas morning I got a blender and a slicing attachment from my boyfriend (which was actually thoughtful because I love my kitchen aid mixer and he knows it.) When it came time for my sister and I to open our presents from our dad he gave us both gift bags and told us to open them together. There was a small card that said "to my daughter (miss-cupcake) I will always love you - dad". In the bag was a blue Tiffany's box with a red ribbon (que ugly crying) and inside was a sterling silver ring engraved with the words I love you. My darling dad had bought his waiting daughters right hand rings for Christmas. He told us no matter what to remember he would always love us and that our Heavenly Father would always love us and that hopefully that would help us to wait for our men to be ready. Ladies my dad rocks! You would think that my boyfriend would have felt out done but I think he feels relived that some pressure was taken off of him and that I got what I wanted though not exactly. Honestly I don't think I have that much longer to wait but I do feel that this gift has changed my attitude from "wheres my ring????" to "I just want to marry him" which is good because I think every woman goes astray now and then lol.
