I LOVE my trainer. I always seem to push myself harder with him and he always seems to find those deep muscles that I miss during my workouts that make you extra sore afterwards. Good luck!
Love my trainer as well. FI lost something like 70 lbs last year and it inspired me to get healthier. Unfortunately I just couldn't push myself and never saw the results. I've beeing working on a trainer now for about 2 months and what a difference. I was so surprised how out of shape I really was.
My favourite part about having a trainer is that he changes up the exercises every week so I never get bored.
Yesterday he worked my arms so hard that I was unable to pick up my cat...albeit the cat is 17 lbs.
How long will you guys be working out with the trainer? I signed for 6 months of fun!
I am going to go once per week until October and then step it up to two time a week. I will probably do it indefinitely. Well, until I get that hot healthy body!
I go to a trainer once a week and I LOVE it. He is very encouraging, he promotes me being more accountable overall and he definitely knows how to work me out until my arms/legs/abs, etc. feel like spaghetti!
I highly recommend getting a trainer if you are trying to lose. I think for maintenance, you could pretty much do that on your own - maybe I will have one session a month to just keep myself accountable for maintaining my goal once I reach it.
Congrats to you on getting a trainer!
I got a trainer about a year ago and I've noticed a big difference. I am WAY more motivated to work out and I am a lot more toned :)
if you find the right trainer they can motivate you to a whole new level! congrats - both hubby and i have trainers (different guys) and they really have helped add quality of life to our lives
I worked out with one for a bit, then stopped for lack of moolah. But I'm thinking the once a week thing until the wedding might be the right splurge..

And last night he kicked my booty. I always was one of those people who thought they didn't need a trainer. I work out pretty hard core. But I really think this could be good. Anyone want to share their experiences?
