I'm absolutely over the moon. FI took me out under the pretenses of forgetting his phone at work (which he did). I kept on thinking 'today might be the day' but to be fair I was hoping that of every day lol. With me totally oblivious he had snuck out into town several times to buy a GORGEOUS ring! I'm so happy with it! We had gone jewelry shopping before and I had thought I found the one that I really liked but he later told me it was overpriced and bad quality. He found my engagement ring at Helzberg Jewelers and they had fantastic customer service and found me a really high quality diamond! :) That's my guy, finding the most bang for his buck! :D The center diamond is a round cut 1/2 carat. The ring is 18 karat white gold. I love it! Just the right amount of sparkle!

The proposal was really sweet and simple. No outburst of emotion, just a nice romantic walk at sunset and a beautiful speach about how he knew since the day he met me he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. Awww :)
