It was a bit chaotic, but turned out really great in the end. Here are a few pics to enjoy. The first is a before shot taken by a friend just to give you an idea of our ceremony site. I’ve also included a picture of myself with long hair & a birdcage veil for those who are wondering if this can work. I wanted a low messy side bun, but the groom wanted my hair to look like it did the day we met; a decision which resulted in me saying to my stylist 4 hours before the wedding, “scrap our trial idea, chop 4 inches off of it and throw in tons of layers, then make it BIG”. 🙂

Thanks, everyone! It was SUPER windy yesterday, so by the time I made it to the reception my birdcage was looking kind of oddly placed. The flowers were nice, but actually my only disappointment for the day. The florist did not follow my instructions. But seriously, if that’s all I have to complain about, I’m pretty lucky!
@noritake22: He is not a lover of pictures! lol I do think he’d had his fill by this point in the evening.

@ttn133: Funny story about my dress . . .it was not the dress I ordered and planned to wear. I had to change it out about 3 weeks before the wedding due to fitting/alteration issues! It wasn’t striking at all on the hanger, but I did think it was more flattering than my original choice, which was Sottero & Midgley’s Adorae.
