I’m going to pick up my ring in the next couple hours! I’ll be sure to post pictures this evening!!!
Here it is!!! I’m sooo in love! It’s 10000 times more than I expected. I can’t get decent pictures…they really don’t do it any justice. I don’t think I will ever change/upgrade my ring ever again. I found my forever setting!
Ok it’s a little bit of a long post, but I figured I would tell u guys the story behind it.
This is my original e-ring (simple thin band solitaire) it’s a 0.63ct , Vs1 ,G colour:
This is my parent’s ring that was given to me on my wedding day ( I used the diamonds and the gold to create my halo and side stones):
I was having serious shrinkage issues so I wanted to incorporate my ring and my parents ring together to make a halo setting. I was going to upgrade the center stone instead but I realized I was really attached to the stone my husband gave to me. So…I decided to custom make my setting. This is the CAD:
After waiting For 5 weeks, here she is!!:
Here’s a side view :
It’s actually a lot more delicate than in the pictures , for some reason it looks chunky in the pictures.
Now that I have mine, I’ll be waiting to see yours!! 😀
englishrosesinapril : Yay!!! So exciting!
Mrs_BunInTheOven : OMG! That ring came out even more gorgeous than I could imagine! It’s so intricate! What a special piece you made out of sentimental stones and gold. It doesn’t look chunky at all, it looks very well made but not like it’s too much. Congrats!!
