As for the clothes situation, consider a consignment shop to buy a 3 piece suit-skirt, pants , jacket. Then buy a coordinating pair of pants.

You can add any number of blouses and tops to start off your workwardrobe at low cost as you have been unemployed for a few months.

@bpcmarj: Wow really? I wear a 34″ inseam and I thought they also sold up to a 37″ inseam. I hope you find something that fits you, I completely understand your frustration in finding long enough pants πŸ™‚
