Congrats! I wish the iPhone would switch over to Verizon already because I'd love to try this program!
thank you ladies!
@lilindy, i would just try the program now. who knows when the iphone will switch over, especially since i think apple renewed its contract with at&t. you can use a simple wristwatch to keep track of time. that's what i did in the beginning!
you know, if you have an itouch, you can download the app as well! i believe there are podcasts for regular ipods as well. i didn't start running with my ipod until about week 6 when i was running for much longer periods
Congrats tea, that is such an amazing accomplishment!!
Good luck on your 5K!
I'll be joining your graduating class in a little over a week (next Sunday)!
@babyboo, good luck on your last week! it is such a fantastic feeling of accomplishment when you finish. i'll be here to celebrate with you when you're done!
@beekiss2, thank you and thank you! i'm a little nervous but more excited than anything else
I am so impressed with you. I'm going into Week 5 on Monday and it's looking ridiculously hard.
I love the C25k. Are you thinking about doing the Bridge to 10k?
@sahsabahs, i'll tell you a secret: i repeated week 5 at least twice! i had to work up the courage to tackle that day 3. but now that i'm regularly running 25+ minutes, i consider a 20 min/2-mile run "quick." lol.
i'm taking a few weeks before i tackle the 10k program. i might just wing it alone, not sure. either way i love the freedom that running has given me in my fitness regimen. no more being stuck inside listening to the same dvd.
@beekiss2, actually i have. i can feel when i start to get tired so i'll slow my pace and then suddenly i'm picking it right back up and sailing through even further than i thought i would. though i'm more aware of it when i know my mileage and i'm short of my goal, and from somewhere i get that drive to achieve it. i hate the idea of "losing" and falling short of my goal always feels like a "loss" to me.
@texasmeredith and missasb, thank you, thank you!
good job tea! I run my first 5K this afternoon! I'm so excited, my only goal is to not finish last, ha!
@ Lillindy-it's really easy to make a program using your own music. If you want you can send me the types of music you like and if I have it I will make you one.
I can email you the one that I made. It has all of the cues to walk and to run and to cool down.
Omg congrats! I just started I LOVE success stories!!

Beekeeper
and i had to share my excitement with my fellow jogging bees. i finished strong with a 3.5 mile jog this morning and honestly felt like i could do a little bit more. but i'm excited that i was able to finish the program AND see the growth i made over the past 2 1/2 months. seriously, if anyone is on the fence about this program, just do it! it's amazing!
my first test will be next saturday at my first ever 5k!
thanks for all the encouragement ladies. and good luck to anyone still chugging along on the program or those thinking of starting.
