Hi I'm getting married in Rockland at the View on the Hudson in Piermont, but I am from Westchester. Our rehearsal dinner will also be in Westchester at the Striped Bass in Tarrytown.
Ooh, my parents stopped by the Fountainhead and said it was absolutely gorgeous!! And actually my parents went to a wedding at the View on the Hudson and said it was wonderful... jeez, I talk about my parents a lot! Haha. But they had to do some leg work for me, since I live in PA. I must say that I do miss Westchester *tear tear*
So jealous!! We live in the area, but getting married in Michigan. I know all these places and all are beautiful and Striped Bass is yummy. It's just hard to plan a long-distance wedding. I don't where to have the rehearsal dinner!...Here I go to post and ask........
My fiance and I live in the Bronx and are having our wedding at the VIP Country Club in New Rochelle. Does anyone know where of a good place to take pictures near there?
Hi there...I would strongly suggest you take a look at Dutchesss MAnor if you are considering the Garrison. I have been to Dutchess Manor numerous times and it's food and service are absolutely out of this world. It is a little country, view of the river- very quaint. Perfect for like 100-130 person wedding.
If you don't mind going up a little farther, I would consider the Grandview, where I am having my wedding- absolutely amazingviews, beautiful, great package.
Both have really reasonable prices.
I have heard bad and good about Glenn Island - any of those country clubs on the point at New Rochelle are pretty to look at on the outside but have had some God awful experiences on the inside- a lot of them look very dated and you can get much more for your money if you come upstate a little ways.
I am originally from Westchester, parents still live there, having the wedding at the Renaissance Westchester in White Plains...
Where is your venue?
