Those are amazing shoes. I am having an outdoor wedding so my shoes are flats which is too bad because I love retro heels. Hopefully you can find them.

Hey, better than being a 2-dress bride, right?  Lol, I’m both of those actually.  Those white ones are RSVP Angela, yes?  I almost got them in blue before deciding on a lower heel.

@tinlizzleizzle: Ha! You are the first to guess it!  Yes, that will be my married name and I am on a personal mission to indoctrinate all my coworkers and friends to know how to say it correctly.  I’m planning to attach (It’s pronounced “A-Bear”) to my signature on all my work e-mails for many months until people stop calling me “Hee-Bert”, “Herbert”, and the many other iterations I’m told (by my inlaws) to expect for the rest of my life.

@tinlizzleizzle: I can see Smith/Brown/Jones/etc being a bit too easy for blending in, but at least everyone knows how to pronounce it and you won’t have to correct people or spell it for them.  My current last name commonly gets the first letter changed to a more common name unless you pronounce it very clearly, but I think most people recognize it by itself, so I’m a little sad to give it up… at the same time, not changing my name was never an option in my mind.  That doesn’t mean I won’t complain about as much as possible beforehand.

My favorite game (to annoy FI) is hearing names on tv and seeing how it sounds with my first name.  for example, if my name was Jennfer– Hmm, Jennifer Peterson, yes that is way easier than Hebert… –Hmm, Jennifer Prezlocki… wow, glad I only got as bad as Hebert.
