Weddingbee boards

Hello everyone! New gal here. I've been lurking for awhile on the dress boards as I started my dress search. I've really loved looking at everyone's dresses, especially all the happy faces when someone has found THE dress.

Well, I never thought I'd have a "THE DRESS" moment...I just didn't think I was that kind of girl. This is my second marriage and I hated my wedding dress for my first wedding (foreshadowing, anyone? Hah!) but I must've tried on 80-plus gowns and just never had "that" moment so I figured that was just because of me.

Today, however, I tried on a dress and knew instantly that it was the one!! I got goosebumps and choked up and everything. My FI is out of town and my mom, aunt, and best friend live out of state, so it was just me at the salon today...and most of the time I'm fine with that, but I soooo wished they were all there to see it and share that moment with me. The wonderful consultant at the salon took some great pictures and I sent them to everyone, and everyone agrees that it is THE perfect dress for me! What a great feeling!

I am so over-the-moon excited about marrying the love of my life and finding THE dress and having THAT moment so I wanted to join up here and gush with more people who can understand and relate!! So thanks for reading my longwinded post and letting me gush. As a 30-something mom and repeat bride, I find that sometimes people in real life aren't as keen to hear the details. That's the beauty of these forums! :-)

I love it!!  I hope to have a dress moment, I have tried on so many... I liked a lot but I was never like OMG I NEED THIS DRESS.

Thanks SO much for the compliments! I really appreciate it. I feel so much like this dress is just ME. It's classic but slightly modern, the flower and neckline give it a romantic and feminine feel without being overboard/fussy/frilly, and the full skirt makes me feel like a princess and also makes it really feel like a wedding dress. And I think it's fun and a good fit for my personality. I put on that dress and instantly imagined how it would feel to wear that dress and walk down the aisle to meet my guy and marry him, and I had to choke back tears!

Oh yeah, and the pockets are so stinkin' FUN!! :-) I heart the pockets!
