@ecrowe1218:

Usually Allure dresses run about 1K to 2K…how about something like this that kind of gives you everything you and your fiance might want?

Here is the new spring Allure Romance line…this one’s 2704

My dress is a really light ballgown, it doesn’t have all that shaping tulle underneath the skirt. It was also under $1,000 it’s from Justin Alexander’s Sincerity line.

This one is also less full: 2716:

I kind of really adore this one…

I originally wanted something really sexy – low back, bling-tastic, etc. I was pretty set on getting Allure 9051 but nearly everyone turned it down including my fiance. I kind of went in the other direction and am planning on buying something that is very simple but I adore it and can’t wait to order it at the trunk show next month!

@ecrowe1218:  Maybe you can do a blingy belt? You could always accessorize? Have you tried on something that has all three components on it? You might find that it’s a bit too much to have all three everywhere on the dress. Just have fun trying on stuff though :>

David’s bridal has a natural-waist ballgown that his silver beading/embroidery and it was SO light! It was one-shoulder, but it could be removed…

@ecrowe1218:  My dress has no beading (I wanted plain lace as I found beaded illusion necks to be quite painful after about 20 minutes), but it would be very easy to add a silver beaded sash over the waist-band.

@ecrowne1218, like you, I was set on a mermaid/fit & flare gown. I tried on a fit & flare that I loved, but after my sisters saw an A-line that I turned into a ballgown I tried on for fun, they told me they loved it so much more than the fitted one. It also goes well with my ballroom venue. And since my fiance is a lot taller and wider than me, I wouldn’t look so tiny like I would in the fit & flare.

Pictures of the model wearing the Allure 9014 DOES NOT do the dress any justice!! I decided to put on a petticoat crinoline and it made the dress that much more elegant. Although I was reluctant at first, I fall in love with it more and more each day looking at the pictures. The ballgown also cost less than the fitted one. I actually showed my FI this fit & flare (also Allure) thinking he would like it but to my surprise he was not impressed at all! He made a stinky face and that made me feel so great since I decided on the ballgown 😀
