Can you get some kind of strapless bra that would give you some oomp so you don’t feel so flat chested?

Other than the top, I think it looks great on you!

Have you had it altered yet?

I am so sorry. I feel sad for you.

I think you look great in it, but if you want to try to change the look, what about trying a sash where the ornament is. Just get a peice of material; maybe a blouse from your closet or a pillow case, and hold it up over the ornament to see what kind of look you get. If you like the look, you can go to Joanns and use a coupon to get material for a sash and make yourself one. The sash may give you a more defined look.

First of all… I think you look gorgeous. I wouldn’t change a thing.

Second of all, we all get second thoughts about our dress… are there parts of the dress that you love? If its just the boobs, maybe adding a sash around the waist might help.

Or is it really the whole thing?

If its really the whole thing, then what about selling your dress on one of the online websites and looking on those same sites for a used dress. You can find dresses prety cheap, and if you know your measurements may even be able to find one that doesn’t need alterations.

Or, depending on what your looking for, how about looking at dept. stores or other mall stores for dresses you can buy off the rack. Lots of stores carry white evening gowns that look very bridaly and many dept stores can do the alterations for you.

If you can sew a straight line on a machine or you know someone else that can do it for you, you can make a sash for really inexpensive. If you want to know how, message me, and I will write you some detailed instructions.

Edit Add: You can get material that is already beaded and/or has some sparkle in it, if that is the look you want.

Love the sash idea. I am pretty freaking awesome with Microsoft Paint (read: sarcasm) so let me whip you up a little something!

I agree with the others that a sash instead of the bow would look great!

Here is an etsy seller that makes sashes. Her prices look pretty reasonable for her doing all the work. You might contact her to see if she can custom make you something for your gown. I have no idea who she is and I have never purchased anything from her, but from what I could see her work looks good.

Sorry, forgot to put the link:

Also, David’s Bridal sells sashes like, in a box. On the shelf. For like 20 bucks. In every color.

Oh Sweetheart,

I know how you feel.  I hated my dress too.  Mine makes me look like a snowman, or like I got stuffed into a flower.  I bought it online :(.

First off, I think you look very nice.  I am an extremely honest person.  So, for what it is worth- I honestly think you look very nice.  I am sorry you hate it, and I know how you feel.  That being said- like the other posters said- try something around the waist and stuff those puppies.  Don’t worry- you really are adorable and beautiful.  He IS going to love it, and YOU!
