We took our engagement pictures a couple weeks ago and were planning to use them to create a photobook to be the guestbook. We got them back a couple days ago and I absolutely hate our pictures! I look like a blimp! Some of the shots look a little forced. I don't know what to do...we can't get them redone, its not the photographer's fault really, but I absolutely hate them. I think I'm just going to have to get our friends to take a pile of pictures so we can use those in the photobook.

I'm so sorry to hear that sparkle. It's such a shame not to use them in some way seen as how you paid for them. I'm a graphic designer and work with images all the time. Are you sure there's no way a bit of creative cropping, use of fine art textures etc. couldn't breath some creative life into them. I'd be happy to have a go for free for you!

I am so sorry :( isn’t a way you can get different pictures of you two trough the time you were dating? That could be cute

This is along the same line as poodle's suggestion, but when a friend of mine got married, her family and the groom's family put together a collage of pictures of them throughout childhood and then pictures of them throughout their relationship.  I thought it was really fun to see the two of them when they were little kids along with the pictures of them as adults. Maybe you could collect pictures from your families and do the same thing in book form?

Oh my, hanmay, you're amazing! If you have time to play with the images I'd be happy to send them to you!

missgnome...actually that's a good idea, we're going to do a slideshow anyway so maybe I should use those images as the ones for the book too.
