Aww this sucks. If it doesn't get any better, you might have to sue. I'm not a lawyer(no where close) but you can't pay for something and not get what you paid for. Do you have a contract, I would hold onto it, just in case you have to.

Bumping this to make sure that there isn't anyone out there still waiting for their video/photos from Mike Scola/Spectrum Video. If you are, please respond or private message me. There are at least 3 of us that I know of that are still waiting, and we would like to join forces with anyone else out there to get what is ours.
@mncrk09: This is great information, you should post this review (if you haven't already) on the Chicago Knot board and Wedding Wire to help other brides out there to avoid this company. I'm so sorry you're going through this!
I am sorry this is happening to you...I interviewed with them a few months ago and thank heavens we went with someone else...
Oh my gosh, you're still waiting after 7 months!? I know if it is a legal matter you may not be able to discuss that here, but I really really hope you've at least got some legal advice or are actively suing them... Good luck :(
Thanks for the advice ladies. I have come in contact with several other brides that are dealing with the same thing and we do have a plan. We are just hoping we can get more people to come forward and say that Mike Scola riped them off too.

Hey everyone,
I really hate to do this since I don't like confrontation, but I would like to advise everyone to avoid Spectrum Video LLC in North Riverside, IL. They did the photos and video for my wedding and as of yet I have not received my pictures or video. Basically what is happening is that the owner has not paid his photographer or editor (I believe) for the last 6 weddings that they have done. In order to get the money the editor is using my photos for leverage. The editor has the only copies and is refusing to release them until everyone gets paid. This really stinks. Luckily for me I got the cell number of the photographer and she has been keeping me in the loop. The owner of the company has been ignoring my emails and phone calls since the wedding. I'm sure when I get the photos and video they will be wonderful but I don't want anyone to go through what I am going through.
