Exactly what it says on the tin. See also:
Another day, another row… people contributing to weddings? (Long, sorry).
I would elope, but I want a religious ceremony. This whole thing has been like a marathon from start to finish. Difficult, stressful and miserable. I can’t believe it won’t even be over until the summer. Maybe I should just take up drinking. Well… drinking even more…
*ends self-serving whine*
*attempts to get grip on self*
Gah. Post things you HATE about wedding planning here, ladies. Let’s let it all out…

I hate the added stress. Trying to deal with a bunch of extra opinions from people who shouldn’t have opinions (i.e., those not paying for anything)… or figuring out the guest list, and seating chart. I haven’t even sent out my invitations yet, and I’m already hearing from some people – don’t sit me with X, I don’t like her! UGH.
If I had to do it all again… small destination wedding with as few people as humanly possible.

I just dont like the idea of being on display for hours for those that will be meeting me for the first time. You know the one who will say “oh let’s get a look at the bride he chose”. Most of the guest will be from out of town and will not meet me until the day of the wedding or the jack and jill party the nigh before either way I am not in the mood to judged or compared.
I am nothing like his first wife in personality, character, etc. to top it off I am Black American/Indian and he is Italian/Irish so you can imagine what I will be dealing with. I would have loved to elope but my FI wants this big elaborate wedding. Secretly, I think he didnt have what he wanted the first time and is making sure he gets everything he wants this time. Great!!!! 🙁
Sad to say I am not looking forward to the actual day. The ceremony yes, because I will be marrying my better half.
