HAHA I HATED yoga too - I kept saying to myself 'stop telling me to relax and breathe!'
I did, however, love pilates on the reformer. It was very relaxing because you're still instructed (at least, in our class, it was the same instructor as I took for kickboxing so maybe I made that connection??) It also made me feel very good. However, I didn't wanna pay for it anymore. But it WAS good!
YogaX suuuuuuuucks! It's SO freakin' long! I think I could only get through the whole thing once.
I hate yoga. Too boring for me! I like pilates much better!
Yup. Yoga X is terrible. I dont even think I finished it once. I would replace Yoga X with Cardio or Core. I hateeee yoga!
lol i like the yoga x!! i think its quite relaxing, although i do get annoyed bc i cant do alot of the balance postures at the end but ohhh well... i am definately more flexible (im on week 4). my favorite bar far is kenpo though :) do like chantelly said, just replace it with cardio :)
There have been times where I felt like yoga was a big waste of time but I kept trying different classes and found a flow yoga class that incorporates pilates and extra ab/back exercises. Depending on what your fitness goals are yoga can be really helpful...
Lol, this is too funny...I am in love with my hot yoga class! I was getting so burnt out on cardio at the gym and running outside. I find my yoga class to be challenging and relaxing at the same time. I definitely have to switch up my workouts though, as I will probably get sick of yoga after awhile :)
If you could find a yoga/pilates class, that might be a better fit. The last gym I was a member of had a 'bodyflow' class, that was a mixture of yoga, tai-chi and pilates. It was actually pretty good (man did I hurt the next day! >.<)
When I was doing P90X I had to sub out the yoga tape... I can't stand Tony in the first place... listening to him while doing yoga was my idea of hell!!! I got a different tape for that day... and then I decided to do Insanity with Shaun T... Shaun is awesome. And no yoga!! woohoo!
Only tried a yoga class one time and i couldn't stop laughing!! My hands kept slipping on the mat and i seriously think i had several people very annoyed but my abs got a good workout lol
I'm glad I'm not the only one who dislikes yoga! I wish I liked it because everyone who does it looks AWESOME! I just can't do it.

Had to share!!!
I'm trying to get back into the P90x after my trip in Europe (I missed about 2 weeks of training), and yesterday I was sick so I skipped my yoga - I did it tonight, but I really, truly, hate yoga!!!
I get so bored, and it's so long. why does it have to be long and boring&?
sorry, vent over!
