@LoggerHead91207:  maybe make his lunch (if it’s a weekday)? include a sweet note? give him a massage post proposal? maybe a couples bath? maybe buy him a new cologne? He could wear that cologne on your wedding day & other special occasions!

@LoggerHead91207:  Well, you know he wants to propose at your house. What if you set something up sweet and romantic at the house?  You could have a few tall white “weddingyish” candles and two red roses. One red rose cut short with a hatpin to put it on his shirt (t-shirt boutineer, awesome) and the other cut to 6 or 8 inches with a simple white ribbon bow to be your “bouquet”. Simple, easy, only a little cheesy but something you can surprise him with by whipping it out of a cabinet when you get home from your day.

I’m buying the SO an engagement gift.  He’s actually getting a new laptop (which he desperately needs) and a watch.  It’s not close to what the ring will cost, but I want to give him something too.

First of all, YAY!

Secondly, the only thing my DH wanted after the proposal was sex.

He did surprise me with an engagement party that night!

@LoggerHead91207:  congrats! If he feels bad that you know so much I would step aside and let him do his thing now! Let him plan that day and then after the proposal you can treat him to a nice meal or a romantic gesture! Good luck! 🙂
