LOL...that's funny. My SO and I just had a good "talk" last night. I'm thinking it's going to be around march-april also!
Wow Wendy! We will have to keep eachother updated! What makes think it will be those months? How long have you been dating? We just celebrated 2 years last weekend!
Im right there with both of you! March or April!! I have an eerie feeling its going to be March 12th...our year and a half mark and the day before my birthday!!

Well I been keeping the "Wedding Talk" to a minimal. But after FOUR LONG YEARS of dating, I thought it was about time I brought the subject back up. All he would tell me was for me to expect something in spring. March is my bday, so I'm thinking and hoping march!
LOL do it Knelly! i really think its gonna be sometime in March for me! thats my gut feeling! but I can see it happening in April too! For you I think he might prefer to do it where you live in the second competition! But who knows! Maybe he cant wait that long!
I am thinking April or July for me.. April is one year from when we met in person.. July is our one year anniversary.. and we both want to get married memorial weekend 2011..

Hey ladies,
I have been away from the hive for a while just trying to stay busy and not think of getting engaged. I think we all know how that goes. My BF and I have had some great talks in the past months and I think my time is near.
As some of you may know my BF is a professional athlete and competes around the world. So he has 2 big competitions coming up. One is called the Arnold Swartzenager Classic on March 5th in Columbus Ohio and another one is at Mohegan Sun Casino where I live in CT on April 25th.
During one of our talks BF told me that he wants our engagement to be BIG. He doesn't want to do it while sitting over dinner. He said like everything else he puts 120% into, he wants the engagement to be just as big. He shared with me that last May he thought about proposing to me at a competition but he didn't have time to get a ring. Yes we are talking almost a year ago!
So I am thinking that he might do it at one of these competitions. We are going to have our family at both competitions and it would be a huge deal! We both want to get married in the summer of 2011 and he knows we need a year to plan. We also agreed where we want to get married from talks in the past.
So keep your fingers crossed. I have been keeping busy with going to the gym and helping my friends plan baby showers. I just can't wait until it's my turn!!!!!!!!!
