Ok girls. I had been hiding a horrible secret the last two weeks. As most of you know almost two months ago I bought my red dress for my wedding. here is the post of that dress. http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/this-si-the-one-please-bees-dont-kill-me-my-dress The last two weeks I been thinking and thinking. I loved a dress in Davids Bridal from the Galina line but it cost soooo much (it wasnt that much, but it was out of my budget). Looking one day in the Classified section on Weddingbee I found this beautiful costume made dress. The bride never used it and the measurements where really close to mine. The dress only cost $170.00.  After much thinking and calling all my friends and asking them what to do, I bought the dress. At first I was so scare because i didnt knew what to expect. It was only $170. After I pay the lady all these terrible thoughts came to my mind. I was thinking maybe the dress wanst going to fit me, the lady will never send me the dress after i paid, the dress was going to be horrible on me.

Well the dress came today and here are the pictures. Of course it needs a shorter hem. Im really short. The straps at the top need to be shorter and it need a loudry service to iron it. But as soon as I put it on it felt so weird. I started crying and  my FI was amazed. He love the dress and how it fit (yes, I dont believe in superstitions) I texted my neighbor and she came running and as soon as she saw me her mouth drops. I knew I found the one. I didnt felt this way with the red dress.

here are some pictures. The bolero is the one from my other dress. Im very self conscious about my big arms. But tell me, what you think?? Do you like it better that the red one?? What should I do with the red one??  Should I sell it??

I offer my apologies  to all of two dresses bride that in the past I didnt understood. Now I know what all of you felt.  =)

That looks great on you!! I love it!! And $170 can't be beat with a stick!

Can you change into the red one at the reception?

That dress is gorgeous (but I loved your red dress too)!! In all honestly I think your arms look great in that dress, even without the bolero. I think if you do decide to still wear a little jacket, a little softer color might look nice (like grey or red) because the black is a harsh contrast to the white of the dress.

I think you have found your dress! Don't worry, I think being a "two dress" bride is just normal for lots of us; sometimes it takes that many dresses for us to be sure!

The feeling you had when you put it on says it all. Listen to your heart! :)

And also, you can always wear the red one towards the end of the reception and have some pictures in that, too!

I love the red flower in your hair, too!

Congrats, you look beautiful (and your arms, too)!

Oooh I LOVE this one! I know you were so excited about the red one, but this one is SO gorgeous on you!!! It gives you a great hourglass figure! Definitely definitely keep this one! And the little bolero is so cute with it! The only thing I would suggest is maybe thicker straps? They look a bit skinny nightgown-y to me. I think a thicker strap to match the dress will really add a lot and give you a bit more support when you get to the dancing part of the evening! Yay! I keep scrolling up to look at it again, it's so perfect for you!!!!

The red dress is fabulous...I liked that one as soon as I saw your pics in it...but the new dress is magical on you (truely!) and I think the straps/neckline is very sweet in the last picture (where you are showing your arms) but I'm sure you could find a simple bolero that would match. It is LOVELY! $170? lucky ducky!

I like it a lot better on you. But I would use a white bolero... the black one makes you disproportioned a little bit whereas when you don't wear any you look very good. If you need "coverage" (ie Church settings) use a white bolero instead.

Your arms are fine!  I wouldn't even wear the bolero.  I like your red dress, but I LOVE this one.  It's perfect on you!

Maybe the red one can be your Rehearsal Dinner dress.

This one is awesome on you (love the straps).  But please please do not sell the red one!  The red one is gorgeous and even if you don't wear it to the reception you will have a fab dress to wear to any formal event in the future.  Much better than having to run out and purchase a new dress.  A girl can not have too many flattering dresses hanging in her closet.

Wow! You look fantastic. I liked the red one, but this one is special. You are a bride so you may as well dress like one. This is a classy dress and (except for the length) looks like it was made just for you! Congratulations, Magenta. I'm glad you get to have 'that feeling' about your wedding dress.

About the other one...can you afford to keep it? It would make a great party/special occasion dress. Otherwise, sell it and don't look back. Can you find a matching bolero to wear with your new dress? The black looks a bit heavy with it.

This dress looks great on you! So flattering and such a great deal!

I like the red dress, but maybe you could make it your departure dress or rehersal dinner dress instead?  This white dress seems perfect for a wedding though and you look so good in it!

I think it looks FANTASTIC on you! So very flattering, a great deal, and if you feel like you love it, then definitely go for it!

I do agree with many of the other posters - your arms look great and I don't think you have anything to worry about in that regard. I do think that perhaps the black bolero is a little dark for the wedding, I wouldn't bother with it.

    Wow!!!

I love your new dress. A lot better than your red one. Allthough, the red one looked nice on you, it just didn't look like "the one". I know you will be much happier with this one, and I agree with the other posters, you could do other things with the other dress, if you don't sell it. You could make it shorter and wear it to your rehearsal dinner, have you flower girl's dress made from it, make your ring pillow, make ties and pocket squares for the guys, and so much more.

SCORE! The new dress is gorgeous and very flattering on you. LOSE THE BOLERO! You don't need it. You look longer and thinner without it. Congratulations on your gown. It's heavenly.

It's so pretty on you!  I love the cut and style and everything about.  And, I actually like the black bolero on you with this dress than I did with the red dress.  I feel like it make it look a little funky.  Like the bolero of a girl who almost wore a red dress :-)

And, if you want to keep the red dress, what if you changed into it halfway through the reception or before the final dance for your send-off/goodbye or just rock it at the afterparty!

    Love it!

You look so gorgeous!! I'm so happy you found a dress you love.  I remember you were excited about the red dress but also a little indecisive about it but it seems like there's no indecision with this one--and why should there be?  You look great!!! Surprisingly I actually don't mind the bolero with this dress-I think it suits you--but I think you look very nice without it so there's no need to wear it if you're not 100% on it.

    Congrats!

    So. pretty.

You look awesome. I love the idea of a bolero, but I feel like it needs to be a different color. Btw, your arms don't look huge. I would honestly tell you.

Also, I have a workout secret from my mom: chair lifts. Just schooch off the end of a chair and use your upper arms to raise you back up. Do till it burns, go a little farther till you're shaking, and then stop. (Even if this is only after 1! You will get stronger) I've been doing this every other day since I was 13 and my arms are (is this weird to say?) great!!

And finally, please wear the red dress to your rehearsal dinner, it's awesome, too! I like your style a lot!
