I graduated from college in December, and I've been searching for a local job for a few months now (I'm CT at Disney World, but it's kind of hard to commute from Nashville to Orlando).
When I went in for my dress fitting a few weeks ago, I was chatting with the alterations manager and mentioned that I sew and a lot of people suggested that I should make my dress. She said "Well, if you ever need a job, we can always use more people in alterations."
Um...I TOTALLY need a job!
She handed me an application as soon as I had wrestled out of my gown and I filled it out before i left. I had my interview and a sew test last week, and I got a voicemail today asking when I can start!
I'M SO EXCITED!!!!
