I mentioned home alone to FI yesterday!!
I really want to watch It's a Wonderful Life! But I want to wait until Christmas is a little closer haha.
OMG I ALWAYS watch Home Alone and Home Alone 2, and ELF during the holiday season. I always like to watch the Christmas movies on ABC family too 
I always have to watch A Christmas Story (you'll shoot your eye out lol) on Christmas since it's on TNT or TBS for 24 hours starting on Christmas eve too!
Ooo yes! Elf is awesome!
I'm also a fan of "A Christmas Story", though FI isn't as enthusiastic.
BUT another really good one is Fred Claus. I laughed so hard!
We already watched Home Alone (as I go and now hide in a corner!) :)

while doing DIY projects tonight, I've watched Home Alone, Christmas Vacation, and now the Simpson's Movie. I'd put Elf on later if I could manage to put any xmas decorations up.. you're not alone~
I love the first two Home Alone movies and Elf...I watch them over and over again during the holidays :P
Haha another really, really good one - and I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this - is Muppet Family Christmas. It's nostalgic and family oriented but like many other Muppet shows has some really good grown up directed jokes. Anyone?
Home Alone is a Holiday staple! :) Ever since I saw it I have wanted to visit NYC (& F.A.O. Schwartz!)
My favorite part is where he fakes the Christmas party by turning up the music really loud and making all the cardboard people dance lol.
I love Home Alone. I kind of just want to have a Christmas movie marathon right now! But I am totally craving some Grinch!!! I love Jim Carrey!
Home Alone is my all time favorite Christmas movie. My cousins, sis, bro and I watch it together every year. It's kind of embarassing but I think I have most of the movie memorized and we quote it to each other.

I am so happy to find out that I'm not the only one who loves Home Alone!!!!!! It is def. one of my fave Christmas movies, and makes me all warm and fuzzy hehe. It always makes me wish I had a big family!
haha, update: after watching Home Alone, Christmas Vacation, and the Simpsons Movie, I watched Bride Wars. A productive day of DIY and movies! No doubt, i'll watch home alone again this week while i decorate the house. i could totally communicate only using lines from that movie.
haha! My husband couldn't wait to watch Christmas Vacation on Thanksgiving night, he said thats his favorite time to watch the movie every year :)

Every Christmas Eve we watch Home Alone, and.....Gremlins! Not a typically Christmas movie, but it's so fun when all of the gremlins run around on Christmas :o)
SWEEET! I absolutely LOVE the home alone movies!!! seriously it's not christmas without them - although my husband tells me that Home Alone is NOT a christmas movie - it totally so IS!!!!! :)
My other fave is (which I have on my ipod along with Home Alone) - Jim Carrey's The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.
Also LOVE the Peanuts Christmas. The original Grinch Cartoon. I actually also have a very old VHS copy of the Smurfs Christmas!!!
And I know it's newer but I LOVE Fred Claus.

It is never quite Christmas without watching Christmas Vacation about 34 times :)
I LOVE Home Alone and Home Alone 2....someone got Home Alone 2 as a gift for my family when we were kids and so it's become part of the family holiday ritual even though it's not as good as the first one ("What's that sound?" "That's the sound of a toolchest, falling down the stairs...")
I will admit that I watch both these movies all year round. I own both. I love them. They make me feel nostalgic. Home Alone 1 was playing on TV on Thanksgiving night and I was texting quotes from it with my sisters as I watched it. I have both of them pretty much memorized.
See now you don't have to be embarrassed because I'm a bigger fan even than the rest of you! It cracked me up to see this thread!
@JuneBride: That's hilarious! Usually people think I'm crazy when I categorize Gremlins as a Christmas movie. It's so freakin funny when they are caroling!!
I just watched Home Alone this weekend! It's my favorite Christmas movie and I watch it every year along with Elf and Love Actually!
Hey - great minds think alike! I just picked up Home Alone 1 and 2 at the pawn shop last week! My son LOVES them, so it's nice to cuddle up with my little boy and laugh!
I also LOVE "A Christmas Story"...hehe "you'll shoot your eye out!"

One of the best movies of all time (not just Christmas movie) is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Love love love that movie and could watch it at any time during the year!! Makes me want to watch it now :)
