I'm not in your area but I just wanted to say Congrats on booking your venue. That was the most stressful thing for me to book (so far) and everything was easier after that. I checked out the link and that is such a cool looking place to have your wedding!
@BayStateBride: awww thank you! I appreciate that. Im also interested in online vendors (like for favors, or for stationary services? Maybe even Etsy shops) because Im looking for some unqiue details to put into my wedding and Im fresh out of ideas! If you can think of anything, let me know!
@Bellanouva: I'm not that far into my planning yet. I just booked the photographer, makeup/hair artist, caterer, and church. I plan on doing my STD's on Vistaprint -- the magnets.
@BayStateBride: We were thinking of that too, for STDs (its practical!) but my Fiance likes the ideal of stationary instead. I was thinking fo using theweddingpaperdivas stationary for STDs since the invitation suite we bought actuallu doesnt have matching STDs! Kind of a bummer, but whatever

Oh my goodness Bella! That is a beautiful venue! I love all the open windows and the waterfall outside! It's so artistic and beautiful! I'm thrilled for you!
@SleepingWithNuns: aww thanks love! Jebus its been crazy lately, Im sorry I havent been on facebook or blogging or even on wedding bee! I forgot to tell my MOH that I even set a date, THATS how busy I have been (I got scolded for it too, rightfully so!)

@Bellanouva: crazy busy too! I can't believe my wedding is only in three weeks. Today I go to get my dress from it's final fitting and I can't wait! Maybe I can post some photos on here after I get it! :)
But things have been pretty insane lately with my family, just praying they are ok on the wedding day. I'm working on writing the contract for my photographer right now.

Im sorry things are still insane with your family, but I feel you. Since we decided to have a small wedding my dads been pretty mopey and not happy about it. Also of course the stress of paying for this thing ourselves is straining my brain. I feel you on drawing up contracts as well, we are doing the ever so fun dance of changing and reviewing the menu and contract with our caterer (the one who has profiled waterfall, savory chef!)
ahhhh I cant wait until I finalize finding a wedding planner! I am soo excited about that, because honestly, I would love the help. This is the only extra extra thing I am having for my wedding that is outside our budget, that Im willing to sweat extra hard at for work.
Also, I admire how cool you seem to be with all this stuff! I think I would have thrown in the towel (I have been close lately, what with all the stuff my dad has told me he is unhappy about, thankfully my mom is coming around though)
Not to mention I have officially decided not to invite my insane eldest sister. Le Sigh. You and me, we need an evening to bitch about our family drama lol.

@Bellanouva: Thank you! I'm trying to keep my cool on the outside, but on the inside I'm freaking the freak out. It's been helpful to have friends to vent to, but it's been tough because I feel that my family has done everything they can to make my day all about them. I've taken some time out to bawl in my car off and on as needed, but I'm remaining surprisingly calm these past few weeks as it's getting closer.

Several months of saving, another look at one of our fav venues to begin with, and we have finally booked and put a deposit down on our venue

I love it and I think we can do great things with it :) We are also currently working to find a wedding planner and other vendors so if any of you ladies have some dream vendors that worked out for you either online ones or ones in my area, that would be great!
