I just got a text from one of my girls telling me she wanted to change her hair and get it cut and do something different! and asking me what I thought? (She’s a long haired strawberryblonde red head)
Her: I’m thinking of cutting my hair, I need a change. What do you think?
Me: How short? I love your hair, but I understand wanting a change! what were you thinking?
Her: Don’t worry, I figure if I cut it now it will be long again for your wedding. Maybe an angled bob with bangs. I’m not sure yet, I might chicken out.
Me: My wedding? oh god, please don’t worry about it. I know however your hair is it’ll look nice! Length of hair doesn’t mean anything to me!
Anyway, I just thought it was so cute/funny that she was concerned about the length of her hair for my wedding! As if I’d be pissed off about a bob!? heh.. I’m not sure where she got the idea that I want her to have long hair!!!!
Anyone elses bridesmaids make comments, like that, about things that don’t matter to you?

The sad thing is, there ARE brides who would get super pissed off about this.

Aww, that’s so nice! I had a bridesmaid offer to grow her hair out for my wedding. I was just shocked, lol, but it was really sweet of her to offer. Another BM said she’s growing hers out for it, too, but just because she wants it to be long for the wedding.

I’m glad that you have great bridesmaids because you are not a bridezilla and deserve great friends.
Like the PP mentioned, there are a lot of brides out there who have or would freak out about this. I was in a wedding with a bride like that she pulled a fit on a BM for cutting her hair a couple months before the wedding and then flipped out on me because I didn’t have the correct nail polish on my toes (I never got the memo and it was a floor lenght gown).

Aww that’s so sweet. My matron of honor asked me if it was okay if she was pregnant for my wedding lol. I was flattered that she’d ask!

I have a BM who is putting off getting her hair cut until after the wedding.. but I think its more for herself than for me lol… she keeps saying she thinks she will stand out with short hair and wont feel as pretty.

@jo.lee: I totally understand wanting it for yourself, but to ask permission? lol. it’s YOUR hair, do whatever. I just though, girl, I have guys with tattoos on their faces in my wedding party, I am NOT worried about your bob! lol.
@roxy821: HUH! Wrong nail polish? that is so bizarre. Like you’re going to really be looking at the bridesmaids nailpolish on the day of the wedding… and thank you! I try not to be a bridezilla…
@tntrav44: haha… since you ASKED, can you please rewind the babymaking? haha… So cute.
@bells: standing out could be a good thing! But yea, I understand that for sure!
