AWWW!!! I need to show this to my hubby, since our 6 month is next week! :)
yes...hint hint hint ;-)
It was even better because it wasn't our 1year....so it was totally unexpected. It really is those unexpected surprises that make us melt.
Oh that is so sweet!
I don't think either of us noticed when we'd hit the 6 month mark, lol =]
That is sweet! And right before Valentine's day? He's good! Of course, he's setting an awfully tough precedent :)
That is so sweet. My FI has never given me flowers. Maybe one day if I am lucky.
@ Goodart Don't heistate to TELL HIM that you would like flowers. Men can be very dense. Sadly some women fall into the trap of "well I don't want to ask. I want him to just KNOW". Sadly most men will never just know....unless someone before you taught them
So speak up and say "excuse me! I would like some flowers please!" :-)
Also...I don't think men realize that you don't have to spend $$$ and send flowers. Ya know those flowers they sell that the grocery store for $15? We love them just as much! heck..you can even forget to take the price tag off and I don't care! tee-hee-hee
I know flowers are not expensive. I happened to mention yesterday that he had never bought me flowers before. He said that they were expensive. I will have to metion it in another store where they aren't expensive and maybe that would help a little more. I will be more direct next time.
We had a good freind who was dragging his fit about getting flowers
In addition to telling him the joys of cheap-o flowers he also told him the other secret : Just grab them when you are going there for something else!! haha
She won't know and even if she does...she doesn't care
So when your man is at the store picking up beer or milk...tell him to just grab the flowers too. The people at the store are nice enough to often put them right by the check out lane....perfect for a last min impulse buy!
Men really need to wise up and realize how easy it is to get flowers and how HAPPY it can make thier women
As for you...make sure you go on and on about how much you move them and how happy that make you. That way he has good reinforment to do it again :-)
Thanks for the advice. He actually came to my house last night with flowers. Not real ones but they were flowers. He is trying now I just need to talk him into the real ones. Baby steps.

We were married 6 months ago today. My husband surprised me and had flowers sent to my work! The note read "Married life is good. Love you honey!"
I just melted! I love my husband and I feel like I very lucky woman :-)
