I’m awake! I think that looks really nice. What do the chairs the venue comes with look like? Do they need covers? As far as hanging things from the ceiling, how’s the lighting? If it’s a bit dark, it might be a good idea to hang some lanterns or other light source. I think the look of the wood is beautiful on its own, though. Oh! How many vases were you planning per table? If more than one, what about varying sand with flowers and water with flowers. Kinda beachy? Maybe shells?

Love the venue, love the fabric, love the candles & flowers…..Beautiful ideas. I agree with you on the hanging….just a suggestion, but I would try to go with some sort of larger chandeliere piece with candles (or those lights that give the appearance of flickering candles if your venue won’t allow real candles)….then maybe accent the chandeliere with your flowers….maybe a wrought iron chandeliere???

Happy Planning!!

I don’t see what’s so bad about chair covers. Maybe a lace sash to complement your fabric? Maybe some other frames that are a bit more ornate. I think maybe some white/lace bunting or lights/lantern things or upside down umberellas would look nice and brighten it up a bit without taking away from the wood?

@sunkissed19:  For round tables, I think 3 vases each would look nice and even. Mix and match the different components, see what looks best together?

I think chairs are over-rated… in 20, 30 years, no one is going to care what your chairs look like and I bet chiavari chairs will look dated. Go for the table cloths

I’m awake! (because it’s 8am here!).

What a lovely venue! I really wouldn’t worry about the chairs. Do they really need covers?!
