We wanted to do pi day as well, especially because it’s a special pi day! 3.14.15 being the next 2 numbers. Butttt Friday is cheaper, and more convenient for a later evening wedding, so we will most likely do it 3/13 instead. But that’s so exciting! I’m glad you found the likely venue; that seems to be the hardest part for a lot of people!

Haha we are not superstitious people, and we started dating on a Friday the 13th also lol so it’s an easy day for us to remember! 🙂

Date twin here!

We had some issues with the venue selection process, as most places where we live (Long Island, NY) have the expectation that if you’re having a wedding, you want 300+ people plus all the “expected” bells and whistles that come along with a $50,000+ event.   Doesn’t matter that it’s in March, or on a Saturday afternoon, nothing.  So, we’re rebelling against tradition (sort of) and having a lovingly dinner at our favorite fondue restaurant with the close friends and family that matter most to us.

Now, I just need a dress 🙂

That’s pretty cool! The year fits perfectly too! 3.1415 is Pi!

Maybe you should serve pie instead of cake? :p

Date twin: we are getting married on Pi Day 3.14.15!  We will have pie in addition to cake. Our wedding is aboard a boat (the Scarlett Belle Riverboat) from 5-9pm, but we plan to toast the day and each other at 9:26pm. Maybe am too, we’ve lived together 19 years and he thinks the whole “don’t see each other that day” superstition doesn’t apply…

So far, as one of the favors, we have little post-it notes that say our names and “Pi Day 3.14.15” — then down in the lower right it says: “constant, infinite and irrational” which I have been joking to folks is the theme of our union.

I’d love to hear what you other brides are doing for that day!
