YAY! Good for you! It's nice to appreciate yourself once in awhile! = D
Aw good for you! I'm glad you had such a great day... what an awesome find!
hey girls kudos .havnt read your posts but hope he gets back to his old self.whatever u can do to keep ur spirit up go ahead .
Good for you! That sounds like a great idea! I might do that for myself one day!
I totally did this for myself on my 25th birthday, and I still wear that ring daily on my right hand. I love it and what it represents for myself (independence and a so what I'm not engaged type of feeling)...
Go girlie! I used to buy myself flowers all the time. I think you just made me start back!LOL
haha that's awesome! but even if it's not an engagement ring i think we still deserve pictures :P
@ceamoste I think I might just have to take a few photos with the flowers I bought!! I'll give it go and post later with my results...
Good for you! That is a great idea, and I'll bet you feel super empowered!
I almost bought myself a ring recently, I really wanted it but it would be very similar to what my eventual engagement ring looks like and my SO talked me out of it.
I bought two dresses instead, haha.
That's great! I love buying gifts for myself. It always feels good to get something for yourself that you really want and love.
Thats Awesome! I did that too a couple years ago. I took my kids on vacation and bought myself TWO right hand rings. I dont buy stuff for myself often so they are very special to me.
Perfect! I love buying flowers for myself, they are pretty and cheer me up for a week and I get to feel all bad ass. (Okay, not sure why flowers are bad ass but getting them yourself kind of is.)
I think it's great that you did that for yourself. It seems to be so easy when you are in a relationship to wait or expect your other half to do nice things for you. Sometimes you just need to do something nice for yourself and appreciate who and where you are. Somedays the little chocolate covered caramel square I buy as a treat at lunch is the best part of my day!

...For myself!! I was feeling a bit down about SO not being as romantic as he used to be (see my previous post) and I kept thinking about how much I would love him to understand how I'm feeling and get me a really beautiful bunch flowers or an cheap but well chosen antique piece of jewellery for valentines instead of a far more expensive, but less meaningful present... and then I walked past an antiques jewellery store and saw it!!
It's an antique half eternity saphire and CZ ring and really wasn't expensive at all but when I tried it on it fit like a dream and I just decided to buy it! Then on the way home I bought myself a lovely bunch of fresh hyacinth and felt so so happy :)
I realised it was silly waiting for him to guess what would make me happy and decided that if I though I deserved an outrageously romantic gesture then I'd better just get one for myself :D
I think I'm going to wear it everyday as a remininder that I don't need to wait for a ring, I can't get one any time I want haha! Made me feel a lot better about the situation
