Weddingbee boards

I've been on the WB for many months but mostly on the wedding boards. Tonight I'm making my first post on the baby side and this grandma just had to share the news.

Last night my son called and told me him and his wife are going to have a 3-D sonogram tonight and asked if I wanted to come along. They wanted to know the sex of the baby. Being ecstatic I said, Yes!!!. As a surprise I bought 2 newborn sleepers, one for a boy and one for a girl. Unfortunately I was late so when I walked in all I saw was my daughter-in-law getting off the table and my son said "We just found out". I was eager to know what it is but I wanted my son to know I had a dream last night and he told me they were having a girl. Right after I said that he said "We're having a girl". Holy Crap, my dream was right and he DID tell me they're having a girl. I handed him the baby girl sleeper and said "I have something for my grand daughter". We all hugged and I felt (and still do) like I was the happiest grandma around.

Thank you, I can hardly wait til tomorrow, I'm itching to hit the stores and buy my grandaughter some girly stuff but mama say's "No pink". I guess my DIL isn't a fan of pink unlike me. I love pink!!!

Oh my goodness, thank you bee's for your well wishes and congratulations. I got a little teary, I'm truly touched, thank you.

I'm sure I'll be posting on my journey as a first time grandma. I'm sure I'll be seeking reviews from moms on all the new "gagets" that have come out since my baby, 25 years ago.
