Although I have to admit, you guys are deff giving us Yanks a run for our money!!
i've been wearing a t-shirt for every game that says "i root for two teams: the orioles and whoever beats the yankees!"
so this week i am a huge texas fan :)
plus, you picked up jeff francoeur, one of my favorites on the mets. we were sad to see him go but excited for him that he'll hopefully get to the world series...since clearly the mets aren't getting there any time soon :(

I will definitely be watching tonight. Even though I would have much prefered them to win Wednesday night, it's really cool that we will win at home.
since i really love baseball more than weddings (shh don't tell), and i just noticed that i'm at 999 posts, i figured this should be the thread for my 1000th post!
so i'll add in that i reallllly hope that san francisco wins their next game! i was so bummed last night when they lost. i reallly don't want another yankees-phillies world series, they are my two most hated teams! last year i almost boycotted watching the series but i caved....plus, it was pretty hard to ignore here in new york.
We'll see your Rangers in the World Series next week. Somehow, our Phillies are going to win the next two!!!!!! GO PHILS!

I used to live in Texas, and the only two main loves from there that I still hold dear are Dr Pepper and the Rangers. I so wish I could be at the game tonight. I am loving this.
I'm all for the Rangers. Being a Cards fan, I don't like the Stros and I don't like the Yankees, but other than people in NY, who does? :D
But I would like to see a Rangers-Giants series. I think Linceum looks like Severus Snape, so the more I see him, the more I chuckle and the happier I am. As for who wins, well, I will plead the 5th!

TEXAS RANGERS!!!! Here down in the South we are just so excited for our boys making Ranger history!! (for those who don't know in the history of the Texas Rangers we have NEVER been in the ALCS which of course means NEVER been to the World Series!)
Sorry to all you Yankee fans, but we're taking the win tonight!!!! Get your Antlers up!!
