I just need a location!!!

We've decided on the beach! I'm estatic!
However, now I have to decide which beach.

Destin, Florida?

Hilton Head, Island?

One of the islands of Georgia? (Which is best...?)

Any advice on locations for a beach wedding? If you have a favorite of the three, do you have a suggestion for certain locations for a ceremony and reception?

Thanks for the advice!

Anyone been to Hilton Head Island? I'm looking into the Westin but it's pretty expensive for my guests to stay there. Any other suggestions?

If we go to Destin, Florida we're thinking about renting a beach house and doing it right there on the beach. But we're hoping that we'll have a guest list of at least 100... (Here's to hoping...) I've also looked at hotels and resorts but I haven't found one I love yet.

Help?

I love Destin! Best beaches ever and I've been all over Florida, Hawaii, etc.

Hilton Head is nice but the sort of place where retired people drive their Bentleys around and honk at every intersection.  It is pretty but a very quiet, golf-playing atmosphere, and quite expensive.

How formal do you want this wedding to be? For a casual, beachy feel Tybee Island south of Savannah could be perfect - it is so relaxed and you can rent houses really affordably.

Check out the South Walton area near Destin (Grayton, Seaside, Seagrove).  I think it's a lot nicer than the Destin area.
