OMG, I am soooo excited about having just ordered my dress! After months and months of stalking it online, sighing heavily in happiness every time I see its picture, the deed is done! I did a poll about this last week and everyone, 100%!, agreed that this would look fab on me. I am getting my beauty from Cici Bridal on etsy. Connie is amazing to work with and Super Fast on getting back to you when you have questions or concerns (I have...ummm...*coughs* been bothering her for only 3 months *starts to whistle*). Within 1 minute of ordering the dress, no kidding!, she'd gotten back to me about the information she would need from me. The paperwork (for a professional semestress to fill out with my measurements) and fabric swatchs will be going out tomorrow morning already(!!) and my beautiful dress should start production as soon as I get my measurements back to her. Oh, did I forget to mention that this dress will be made to my exact measurements so that it will fit like a glove? Or that they're making the neckline a more pronounced sweetheart, and they are adding a built in bustle! I am hoping *crosses fingers* that I will not have to have a single thing on this dress touched by a semestress other then those who are making it. AND I got this on a 20% off sale! Under budget! Woot woot! *dances*

Now...I just have to figure out where to hide this baby once it arrives! I don't care if my FI sees it but he is freaking out about it because he doesn't want to see it until I am in it standing in the door to the church, walking down the aisle towards him. Just makes me melty thinking of it. :)

@jingle96- check out etsy- seriously! while there are dresses on there $1,000+ I found tons of resonable, beautiful dresses for waaaaaay less! Cici Bridal has a huge range of gorgeous, affordable dresses. You CAN find a gorgeous dress in or under your budget, no matter what your budget is! :)

@leelee- which dress(es) are you stalking on etsy or cici bridal? There are some amazing dresses on etsy!

@fantastic888- I didn't know until late one night, bored and wandering etsy for other things, I typed in "wedding dress" just for kicks. Lo and behold- a ton of custom wedding dresses of all sorts, lengths, price ranges, and colors! Vintage? Repurposed? Custom? Its all there! :) I think that as people discover they can get amazing dresses on etsy for significantly less then bridal stores, it'll explode.

@MissManga- Love her store! As for my avatar, I picked it off livejournal sometime long, long ago. until my computer crashed in October, I had over 5 years worth of avatars I'd found on livejournal stored with credits. Now, no idea! Sorry to be so little help!

@crebre80- You KNOW there will be pictures! I just hope those pictures look good! Heh. Now that the dress is ordered I can't wait for it to arrive! In the meantime, I am going to be lifting weights to help thin and buff up (that makes sense, I swear!) my arms.

I should go to bed. I've been up putting the last finishing touches on our Save the Dates- they go out in the mail tomorrow! So excited! Haha....it feels like, Finally!, things are starting to come together and happen. Caterer signed, STDs out the door, Dress purchased/ordered, and appointments made to interview DJs and Bakeries.
