Okay, so I just placed my order for my dressilyme dress!!!! This immediately induced a bout of second-guessing, but thanks to my awesome fiance, who helped pick the dress this was quickly quashed. Here's the dress:
I'm so excited!!! I'll update as we get more steps in the process done! :)
@FutureMrsPatterson: Your welcome... your going to look amazing!
I ordered from them today too! Squeeeee!
Congrats, that is GORGEOUS!!!
@FutureMrsPatterson: I ordered this one. Can't wait to see it!

awwwww..i ordered mine over a month now..im super excited too..
my FI only came with me 1 time during his viist here this summer to take a look at dresses..it was all allure 2011 collection..orderd it 3 months after he left with diff collection dress...
best of luck :)
That is gorgeous! I love the bustline. Ok, now I feel like that's an awkward, pervy thing to like, lol. But the beading just looks so delicate and I like that!
@FutureMrsPatterson: Thanks! I forgot to order a garment bag for it but I contacted Karen and she said they can add it now and ship it when they ship my dress. I am impressed with them so far!
@Juliepants: You made me LOL!!! Not pervy, we are all wedding dress obsessed so perfectly normal!
@BodyByViGirl: I am not usually a fan of pick ups, but I absolutely LOVE your gown!! The beading on the bust area is stunning, and the skirt and pick ups are beautiful!
@Brielle: TYVM! Even though I looked at a zillion gowns, I couldn't get this one out of my head. AND PS it's a replica of BRIELLE
from Maggie Sottero 2009. It is discontinued as of a couple of weeks ago. I can't wait to see what their take on it is!
Those who ordered from Dressilyme please post them when they come. I need to go the replica route but haven't decided who with. I am torn between Dressilyme and Jasmine's Bridal Shop.
@secondchances: I will definitely post when I get mine. I liked Jasmine's and Shades of Pale/Little Velvet Box too but when it comes right down to it DressilyMe was farrrrrr less expensive (especially with the sale last month) and I've seen enough of their work to feel confident it will come out nicely.
If you search the board for Replica though and DressilyMe and Jasmine's you will find many pics from both (as well as other vendors.)
Good luck whatever you decide!
I'm going to keep posting throughout the process, I wish you luck!!!
This is the dress I want to order once I get my measurements.
BTW - that's going to look stunning!
@MissPumpkinPie: Oh my gosh that is stunning! Can't wait to see it!
I purchased the Mori Lee dress that you are having made.
If you need detailed pics to send, you can send these. They are close ups of the back and bottom.
@SaraP2012: Wow that is stunning on you! You'r glowing!!!
I am also strongly considering going with Dressilyme. I can't wait to see how this turns out for you!
@BodyByViGirl:Thanks so much! I wanted to post the real dress on a real person. I think it looks a little puffier on the model at the bottom and I am not sure how the details will translate in a replica.
@SaraP2012: You can always add a trumpet skirt petticoat to make the bottom poof. My Dressily dress came with some netting underneath, but mine is a ballgown, so I'm adding more crinolines anyway.
I ordered this dress:
And this is what came: (REALLY bad pictures - I'll post better ones when I get it from the seamstress next weekend)
Thanks so much!!! It looks amazing on you!!! It helps tremendously to see it on a real person!!
Dressilyme is most definitely less expensive than Dressilyme. As far as the difference in quality though.. I can't vouch for that. As far as I understand, you have to pay extra to Jasmine's and they also take longer than Dressilyme.
I will post as soon as I get it! :) I have a thread started with a picture of the original dress, and I will keep everyone updated with the replica.

My dress is READY!! If you would like to see the pics, I have them posted on the thread I started. I cannot even tell you how EXCITED I am :) :) :)

How's everyone else's experiences been with dressilyme? I'm ordering mine there and I just wanna make sure it's legit and the dresses are good quality?
Mine is ready. I ordered from dressylime too! And I love it.
Take a look.
This is the original from Cymbeline

My Dressylime!!!
What do you think???
@aeris: LOVE IT! It looks good in general!
However, right about on the hip, could something be done with the spacing of one of the layers? It seems to be slightly off and with too wide a space (hope I make sense)
Have you seen pic of the back?
