@Jezika:  Your dress is gorgeous. It fits perfect, is this how it came from them or after alterations. I am almost positive I will be ordering from them next week and have been researching posts. I have seen some people say they ordered a few inches bigger to be safe and some say if you have a seamstress do your measurements to ensure they are accurate it will fit perfect, so was just curious how your sizing went because it fits great. Thanks for posting the picture.

Also, how long did it take for you to receive. I am getting a late start for my wedding in less than four months but just haven’t found what I want in the stores but most of the posts I am reading seem like a month is average.

I used my exact measurements from the seamstress and my dress was still really big – not sure if I lost inches (not weight). The dress is not what I wanted shape-wise, but it still looked beautiful on me. Will post pictures after I get the alterations done.

I ordered my dress at the end of November, and I got it on Jan 5th. It was finished and I got pics on Dec 7th. (Delivery was delayed by a few weeks due to the bak and forth about changes to be made to the dress)

I was actually intimidated to try mine on when I got it. I think that was more to me working myself up over it, so I waited until my alterations appt for it.

Once the seamstress tied me up in it, I was amazed at how well it fit. I over measured by at least an inch (except hollow to hem) and sure enough, my seamstress has to take it in those areas (bust and sides down to waist), and that’s it.

I am VERY happy with my dress!

I got two dresses and I was over the moon happy with both of them.  The long dress had a bit of drama when there was some mis-communication and they put white applique on ivory, but they fixed it and now it’s perfect!!! As for fit, it’s a wee bit too big, but i’ve been working out since I ordered them. So they are very true to size.

@mphlsu:  Thanks! I sent them custom measurements. I have a friend who used to be a seamstress so I had her measure me. She pretty much went by their measuring guidelines, though. I didn’t trust myself to do them myself. If anything, I’d want my dress to be a little smaller because I llike it tight AND to still show the lace-up back (when it’s really tight, the nice lattice look at the back disappears because it’s completely done up, if that makes sense). But that’s really neither here nor there.

I think the whole process took about a month from placing the order, asking them once to make changes based on photos they sent of the dress, and it arriving at my door. I can’t believe how fast it was, but I did order outside of their “busy” season. If you order, I’d definitely recommend asking them to send you photos, because as I said, I did need to point out some changes. You have to ask again and again until they say yes, though. Let me know if you need more advice on that. Even without photos, I’m sure any tweaks would be minor.

Yep, mine fit really well! Here’s my previous thread (with some crappy pics, sorry). The only thing was that it was slightly and I mean slightly big in the chest area. If I wear some type of bra, it should be just fine though. I am really happy with them though. If you have questions along the way, or want pics, you should just ask them. Their customer service people are super nice and responsive.

@Lilyflower:  I just recieved my dress and I got custom measurements. I had my seamstress measure me. And my dress fit me like a glove! I feel like I saved millions! Cheaper dress that is the same quality and I do not need to get it altered! Of course I added inches to the length for extra ‘heel’ room 🙂
